The Tivan Desert is from Ashes of the Sun.

I actually have no idea about The Frozen Reaches! We saw it on a fan-made map and used it. Whether it was canon or fanon before, it's canon now!Ethanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13547113476731173631noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1665375410624300606.post-10902866474086953172018-04-28T15:48:22.445+02:002018-04-28T15:48:22.445+02:00Originally, the sea in the middle of Jamuraa was t...Originally, the sea in the middle of Jamuraa was the location of the Madaran archipelago, that now has been put west of Jamuraa. According to this very novel, this sea is difficult to travel and has no port beside the city of Gallidi. The location in Northland was called Upper Videnth and according to Venters the short story "Light in the Forest" from Tapestries happened there.Jonny Fhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07988668462644445438noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1665375410624300606.post-70449197522890279862018-04-27T20:04:13.770+02:002018-04-27T20:04:13.770+02:00The Tivan Desert might be a ginormous desert, but ...The Tivan Desert might be a ginormous desert, but we can still have desert-faring cultures within it. Also, the southern coast has a bit of green past the mountains that hug it; there could easily be some port cities along that coast. Not only that, but I don't think we've ever had any story talk about the sea in the middle of Jamuraa. Who know what mysteries those islands within it might hold? Also, as you mentioned in your response to Ethan, several places seem almost entirely new (to us lay-folk at least) and we still have no idea the type of things that exist in these places. Even Northland (which I swear you said was called "Greater Videnth" at one point in your blog, although I could be imagining that...) is a large polar continent with absolutely no history or stories based on it. Trust me, there is still plenty of Dominaria for us to discover!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08827149950215614473noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1665375410624300606.post-39698355969441906002018-04-23T22:12:28.666+02:002018-04-23T22:12:28.666+02:00Well, there you have it folks!

Those were the ones I couldn't place.Squirlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00455795032822945487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1665375410624300606.post-44224902972499988972018-04-23T01:58:55.096+02:002018-04-23T01:58:55.096+02:00The only location name on the new map that we made...The only location name on the new map that we made up was Walassa (and Kipamu City-States, technically). Everything else has been mentioned, at least in passing, somewhere in Magic's previous 25 years of lore!Ethanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13547113476731173631noreply@blogger.com
